Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rough Carpenter/Drywall Finisher to join our commercial construction team, in the federal/military space. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience and a strong background in carpentry and drywall finishing/installation, with the ability to work on a variety of projects, including remodeling and restoration. This position will require approximately 75-100% travel, for extended periods of time.

***MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL to Military and Government Sites as required throughout the UNITED STATES ***

Must have rough carpentry experience.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Install drywall, including measuring, cutting, and securing panels.
• Perform taping, mudding, and sanding to prepare surfaces for painting.
• Construct, repair, and install rough carpentry structures, including framing, subfloors, and support structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work is completed to code and company standards.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment related to drywall and carpentry work.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and building codes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a clean record to access military bases across the country.
• Must be willing to traveling to various locations across the country, for extended periods of time.
