Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a  Catering Manager  for one of our premier clients in Portsmouth, New Hampshire . The position will manage the day-to-day functions of catering operations, which requires the candidate to showcase their expertise to lead, organize and execute upscale dining experiences for our high-profile clientele.

This  Catering Manager will create elegant and sophisticated catering experiences that exceed culinary and service expectations while enhancing client program objectives. This position is responsible for the organization and execution of all catered events, management of a diverse group of employees, and will work closely with the account's talented Executive Chef. The best qualified candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in casual catering and banquet management. This candidate must be extremely organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and deep understanding of the technical delivery aspect of catering.

What You'll Do:
  • Office catering and client events
  • Direct clients contact on day-to-day issues
  • Develops and implements catering plans
  • Responsible for financial and HR functions for the catering department
  • Maintains customer and client satisfaction

What You Bring:
  • A strong catering background and event management .
  • Experience with upscale events, and the ability to plan, execute, and coordinate multiple catering functions simultaneously.
  • This position involves a high degree of hands-on involvement in catering events
