About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and operational management in support of the organization's mission. The CEO will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the organization, including resource development, construction, financial monitoring, and staff supervision. This role involves close collaboration with the Board of Directors, staff, and external partners to ensure the organization's goals are met. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, experienced leadership in a multifaceted nonprofit, and a strong background in affordable housing, construction, and financial strategies. Key responsibilities for the Chief Executive Officer include developing and implementing an operational plan to increase the number of housing units, working with the finance committee to ensure long-term financial sustainability, and overseeing project and construction management activities. The CEO will also be actively involved in the family selection process for new homeowners, volunteer management, and will be the primary liaison for all audit activities. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. A Master's degree or Certificate in Nonprofit Management is desirable, and the successful candidate will be expected to have a proven track record in recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as a positive relationship with government leaders.
