We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor to assist our Clinical Director with the supervision of our clinical team (Addiction Counselors, Therapists, and Group Facilitators).
This includes:
Monitoring/auditing client files, as well as the training of clinical staff.
Assisting in the creation and design of program curriculum.
Coordinating treatment and discharge plans and discharge plans
Acting as Clinical Director in the Clinical Director’s absence.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide supervision to clinical team and sign off on Clinical Intern/Trainee hours as needed for State/Federal/Private licensing.
Assist with planning activities, therapeutic support groups, outings, and community meetings.
Recognize early signs of illness, as well as the need for professional assistance and follow-through.
Monitor the needs and behaviors of clients via therapist supervision.
Continue to learn about substance and alcohol use and the principles of recovery.
Discuss significant events involving client activities with the treatment team.
Follow HIPAA Regulations.
Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required.
Assist Clinical Director with staff issues as needed.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Experience providing group, individual and family therapy.
Experience with crisis management.
Understanding of Co-occurring Disorders.
Knowledge of Integrated Treatment Approaches.
Knowledge of Psychopharmacology and MAT.
Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care.
Knowledge of HIPAA and 42CFR Part 2.
The ability to communicate and work effectively with people from various backgrounds.
QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERENCES:
Current, active mental health professional licensure in state of Wisconsin (LPC, LCSW, LMT, Psychologist) with knowledge of addiction treatment.
2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing direct services to individuals with co-occurring disorders, including knowledge of integrated treatment approaches and best practices.
1 year of experience supervising in a clinical setting that treats individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
Ability to successfully pass a caregiver background check and criminal background check at hire and annually thereafter in accordance with state and local DHS requirements.
Must successfully pass a drug screen per WVR policy.
Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
