As our Communications and Content Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our storytelling efforts, driving engaging narratives across multiple platforms. From shaping internal and external communications to developing a dynamic digital content strategy, you’ll play a pivotal role in amplifying our brand’s voice. You’ll also support executive communications, ensuring that leadership messaging is clear, impactful, and aligned with our mission. Duties/Responsibilities: Create powerful content from written stories to short-form videos and photo essays – that amplify Vibrant’s impact, initiatives, and culture. Produce and direct multimedia projects, including awareness campaigns, program features, executive communications, and employee spotlights. Write and edit scripts, articles, newsletters, talking points, and promotional copy for diverse platforms and audiences. Capture on-site photo and video content at Vibrant program locations and events, translating experiences into engaging digital assets. Manage end-to-end content production, including content calendars, timelines, approvals, and distribution. Support communications support for internal events, including virtual and in-person town halls, with AV setup, livestreaming and tech troubleshooting. Support internal storytelling efforts, including employee features, milestone celebrations, and organizational updates. Collaborate with senior leadership on special communications projects, strategic messaging, and executive visibility. Additional duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong writing and storytelling abilities for diverse audiences. Knowledge of virtual event platforms (Zoom) and live streaming tools. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and ability to work. Required Qualifications: Fluency in English, both verbal and written. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media Production, Marketing, or related field. 5+ years of experience in communications, multimedia productions, or a related role. 5+ years of experience planning and executing comprehensive communications and outreach strategies. 5+ years of developing compelling content for internal and external stakeholders. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling content. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with podcast production and audio editing tools. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transport camera equipment that weighs up to 25 lbs. Ability to utilize fine motor skills to operate camera controls, adjust settings, and manage equipment precisely. Ability to see and hear in order to capture and edit videos. Frequent walking, standing, bending and crouching. Will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders to provide status updates and potential roadblocks.
