LHH seeks a motivated and self-starter Bilingual Community Engagement Coordinator in Compton, CA.
Your Mission as Bilingual Community Engagement CoordinatorDesign and execute engaging community events and projects—where your ideas come to life!
Collaborate closely with our Director of Community Affairs and dynamic teams to strategize outreach and logistics.
Lead needs assessments and research to target what matters most to our neighbors.
Coordinate marketing and outreach efforts and ensure every event shines.
Recruit and organize volunteers and staff to deliver maximum impact at every gathering.
Manage budgets and timelines with skill and precision.
Jump into special projects and cross-department collaborations—your creativity knows no bounds.
Uphold high standards for professionalism, accuracy, and company values.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
2 years of experience in nonprofit or community work
Bilingual in Spanish—help reach even more people!
Excellent communication skills—you love connecting with groups big and small.
Top-notch organizational skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Genuine enthusiasm for community building and revitalization—your energy is contagious!
Respectful, collaborative spirit and commitment to equity.
Flexibility for evening and weekend events ( required ).
Community event planning experience a plus.
Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Valid California Driver License and willingness to sign a Motor Vehicle Records release.

Salary: $50,000–$63,000/year
Location: Compton, CA Onsite Monday to Friday
