Job Description

LHH is working with a well-established organization seeking a Paralegal to support its legal department in Seattle, WA.

Role: Paralegal

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (37.5-hour workweek, flexible start/end times)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and modify corporate documents, contracts, and board resolutions
  • Monitor and manage professional licenses and regulatory compliance
  • Provide board governance support, including drafting meeting minutes and organizing board materials
  • Coordinate contract management processes, including tracking and execution
  • Assist with litigation-related tasks such as document management and scheduling
  • Manage intellectual property filings and administrative tasks
  • Organize legal files and ensure efficiency in document management
  • Support compliance with underwriting and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other administrative legal duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years preferred, but not required
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in corporate law and contracts
  • Experience working in-house, particularly in insurance, is a plus
  • Litigation experience is helpful but not essential
  • Proficiency in meeting minutes preparation is critical
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet is a plus
  • Notary certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management tools
