Responsibilities: The Database Manager shall manage the development of database projects. This individual is responsible for performing the following tasks: A. Planning and budgeting staff and data resources; B. Supporting application developers in planning preparation, load analysis, and backup and recovery of data; C. Reallocating resources to maximize benefits, when necessary; D. Preparing and delivering presentations on DBMS concepts; E. Providing daily supervision and direction to support staff; and F. Monitoring performance and evaluating areas to improve efficiency. Requirements Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline
• Seven (7) years of experience in the development and maintenance of database systems
• Five (5) years of experience with database management systems, system design and analysis, operating systems software, and internal and data manipulation languages
