Title: Design Engineer (Firearms Manufacturing)
Location: Columbia, SC
Salary: $95,000 - $130,000

What You Will Be Doing - Designing and developing new firearm products and accessories.
- Creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and/or other CAD software.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability standards.
- Conducting design reviews and providing technical guidance to ensure project goals are met.
- Performing simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
- Participating in prototyping, testing, and validation of new products.
- Continuously improving existing products based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Documenting design processes, specifications, and test results.
What You Need For This Position - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the firearms or related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials science.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for firearms and a commitment to quality and innovation.
- Constant standing, walking, carrying, pulling/pushing, bending, seeing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, hearing
- Regularly lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
