Director, Medical Affairs (PR/511760) Connecticut, USA Salary: USD190000 - USD250000 per annum The Medical Affairs Director will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing medical strategies. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of medical initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the medical affairs strategy to support our client’s products and therapeutic areas. Provide medical and scientific expertise to cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory affairs, clinical development, and commercial operations. Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. Oversee the development and dissemination of scientific and clinical data through publications, presentations, and other communication channels. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry guidelines in all medical affairs activities. Lead the planning and execution of medical education and training programs for internal and external stakeholders. Support clinical development programs by providing medical input on study design, protocol development, and data interpretation. Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to support the preparation of regulatory submissions and interactions with regulatory agencies. Monitor and analyze emerging scientific and clinical trends to inform strategic decision-making. Manage and mentor the medical affairs team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD, DO) or equivalent advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD). Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry. In-depth knowledge of clinical development, regulatory requirements, and healthcare compliance. Proven track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
