Dock Attendant Opportunity At Pier Sixty-Six Resort

We currently have an opportunity for a Dock Attendant to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!

Responsibilities

1. Guest-facing position that is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests
2. Ties up vessels upon their arrival to marina
3. Checks guests in to the marina, and responds to guest needs during their stay
4. Provides onsite customer service for residence, club members and transient marina guests as well as hotel guests
5. Answers guest's questions about the property or the surrounding area attractions.
6. Fuels vessels acting as PIC, contains and cleans up any fuel spills which occur during fueling
7. Attends annual fuel training
8. Accepts packages or arranges for deliveries to marina guests
9. Drives golf cart in tight areas.
10. Provides pump-out to guests in the marina.
11. Patrol the docks, keeping in radio contact with the office and maintains safety standards
12. Cast off lines for departing boats and notify office of departure
13. Maintain and control ice inventory on each wharf, sell ice to customers, and notify office when supply gets low
14. Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to operate golf carts
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license
• Must have the ability to communicate in English effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work in hot, muggy, and inclement weather conditions on a continuous basis
• This position includes (long periods of) climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
