Job Summary:

Combine your good work ethic with your love of dogs! No experience necessary; will train the right candidate.

Join us in offering a variety of obedience and service dog training packages to dog owners who need help. Spanish speaking is a plus.

We work with a variety of clients including veterans, first responders, teachers and more, who require assistance with their furry companions.

General Accountabilities:

• The ability to explain product features, and upsell when appropriate,
• Must be able to drive to appointments in a timely manner,
• Answer customers' questions about training techniques and equipment needed,
• Conduct 1-on-1 training sessions and group sessions each week,
• Perform administrative duties as needed, such as updating notes, rescheduling sessions, conducting group session sign-ups,
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

• Must already own a dog or have regular access to a physically capable K-9,
• Must have the ability to self-start and work alone,
• Lives in the northern NJ area and able to provide your own transportation to appointments.

Education:

High school diploma or GED or above.

Experience:

Not required but must be physically able, will train the right individual.

Skills:

Excellent oral communication skills (Spanish speaking is a plus); Active listening; Social perceptiveness; Critical thinking; Service orientation; Negotiation; Coordination.
