Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM (includes 60-minute break)
Contract: 8 Weeks
Pay Rate: $32/hr

Job Description

Pride Health is seeking an experienced EKG Monitor / Telemetry Technician for a contract night-shift opportunity in Bronxville, NY. This role supports inpatient cardiac monitoring services and covers an FTE leave of absence. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry experience, certification in EKG interpretation, and the ability to work rotating night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry and 12-lead EKG
• Identify and promptly report rhythm changes or abnormalities
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as required
• Maintain continuous cardiac monitoring documentation
• Support patient care activities in coordination with nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards
• Utilize basic computer systems for charting and monitoring

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Phlebotomy certification (required)
• 12-Lead EKG certification (required)
• Successful completion of NHA Certified EKG Technician exam (required)
• 1–2 years of experience in Telemetry or EKG monitoring (required)
• 1 year of hospital and patient care experience (required)
• Competency in basic EKG interpretation (required)
• Basic computer literacy (preferred)
• Must be able to work rotating night shifts
