Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc . has partnered with a company in Salt Lake City, UT that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries. We are looking for skilled Fabrication Specialist to assist with this client's needs.

The Fabrication Specialist is responsible for performing machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks. Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks. Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components

Essential Functions:

• Performs metals/Composite assembly tasks, including drilling, fastening, sealing, and electrical bonding
• Assembles mechanical and electro-mechanical components
• Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
• Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements
• Performs machine set-up, machining, and metal fabrication tasks
• Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

• 3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
• Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

Preferred Skills:

• 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)
• Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data
