About the Role

As a Field Mechanical Technician , you will provide essential maintenance and reliability support for our equipment, focusing on hydraulics, gear process pumps, and electrical systems.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 40-50 hours per week
• 50% travel across the eastern US, including underground mines

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
• Traveling to various sites to ensure equipment reliability

What You Will Bring

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 4-5 years of experience in troubleshooting or maintenance environments
• Confidence in working independently in remote areas
• Proficiency with industrial applications and control systems
• Previous underground mining experience is preferred
• MSHA certification is a plus; we will provide training to obtain it

Role Dimensions

• Work routinely in an underground mine for one week per month, with potential for more
• Travel: 50% - 75% based on operational needs

Your Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• CDL Class B license preferred; we will assist you in obtaining it
