Our client is looking for a forklift mechanic with experience in material handling or aerial lift.

Job Duties

• First point of contact on all equipment-related issues, both on-site and off-site
• Develop and perform routine maintenance of forklift equipment
• Correctly diagnose faults or malfunctions and inform management of extent and possible costs of repair
• Perform maintenance of engines, engine overhauls, brakes, and various other equipment parts Perform on-site repair and maintenance services
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Conduct weekly inspections and repairs of all vehicles and equipment, including on-site maintenance, if needed
• Maintain inventory of working tools and provide suggestions on improvements and/or changes
• Complete test and maintenance reports
• Maintain clean work areas Employment

Requirements

• Secondary School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 2 years of experience in forklift maintenance, with excellent understanding of engine overhauls, brakes, shift transmissions, and other blueprint specifications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good English speaking and writing skills
