Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position seeks a Special Education Teacher to support students across Elementary, Middle, and High School levels, serving grades K-12. The role is based in Little Rock, AR, with a contract running from January 2026 through June 2026. This opportunity focuses on working in self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms, providing tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active State Teaching License in Special Education required
• Experience with K-12 student populations, including grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Proven ability to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Skilled in managing self-contained and resource room environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students IEP goals
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports learning and development
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure appropriate accommodations and supports
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas

Work Schedule:

• 30 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Contract duration spanning from January to June 2026
