Eccard Excavating, LLC is a growing, family-owned excavation company specializing in site work and utilities throughout Central Ohio. We offer the close-knit, family atmosphere of a small company combined with the equipment, organization, and opportunity you’d expect from a much larger operation.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including:
  • Excavators
  • Bulldozers
  • Skid loaders
  • Rollers
  • Etc (various other equipment as needed).
• Perform site work and utility installation on a variety of projects.
• Read and interpret construction plans, understand grade setting, and work from stakes.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Be a team player—willing to step in and help where needed to keep projects moving.
• Maintain equipment and follow all company safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read plans and understand grades.
• Class A CDL preferred, or a willingness to obtain.
• Strong work ethic with a team-first mindset.
• Willingness to work weekly overtime.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
