About the Role

We’re looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven In-House Recruiter with 2–3 years of experience in hiring technical talent—especially engineers—who wants to evolve into a tech sales leader. You'll begin by building XILO’s team, owning the top-of-funnel for high-impact roles across sales, engineering, and customer success. Over time, you’ll grow into sales, working closely with our founder-led GTM team and learning how to pitch, close, and expand accounts in a sophisticated B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, sales, and customer success roles.
• Source and engage top talent using LinkedIn, referrals, events, and outbound tactics.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to align on needs and hiring plans.
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline of candidates, with clear reporting and follow-ups.
• Develop and refine the hiring process to improve speed, quality, and experience.
• Shadow sales calls and support lead gen campaigns to begin learning tech sales fundamentals.
• Eventually transition to outbound prospecting and supporting new deal opportunities.

You Might Be a Fit If You…

• Have 2–3 years of in-house or agency recruiting experience, preferably for technical roles.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments and love the energy of early-stage startups.
• Are deeply curious about people and what motivates them.
• Want to break into sales but are humble enough to learn the business from the inside.
• Are highly organized, process-oriented, and relentless in your follow-ups.
• Communicate clearly and build trust fast—with candidates, teammates, and execs.
• Have a bias for action and a chip on your shoulder to prove yourself.
• Are comfortable working long hours when necessary to close great hires or key deals.

Compensation

• Total compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 , with a mix of base salary and commission tied to recruiting and eventual sales performance.
• Clear path to a closing role or SDR/AE hybrid within 12–18 months based on performance.
