Job Description
Job Title: Industrial Electrician Responsibilities - Repair and maintain traditional mechanical systems such as cams, drives, belt and sheaves drive systems.
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems up to 480 volts.
- Monitor lines for preventative maintenance needs and create work orders.
- Create a plan to repair defects before failure occurs.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures on the line.
- Complete configuration of calibrations for electrical and pneumatic process equipment.
- Maintain records of equipment performance, necessary repairs, and downtime using SAP work requests.
- Engage in PLC troubleshooting.
Essential Skills - Experience with electrical systems, including high voltage electrical up to 480 volts.
- Knowledge of 3 Phase Motors.
- Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.
- Mechanical maintenance skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Familiarity with PLC Ladder Logic.
- Experience with pneumatics.

Work Environment The work environment includes 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling that allows for two consecutive days off during the week. Day shifts run from 7am to 7pm, while night shifts are from 7pm to 7am. Employees will need to work weekends, and days off are determined based on seniority in this union facility. There is potential for transitioning to 8-hour shifts once fully staffed.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Avon, New York.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $69326.00 - $74526.00/yr.
