Much of the work being performed will be in a heavy industrial environment. Some of our targeted markets include Ag-Processing, Automotive, Chemical Processing Facilities, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage Facilities, Heavy Manufacturing, Institutional, Medical Device Manufacturing, Petrochemical orthopedic facilities, Power & Energy, Steel Mills, and Foundries.
Position Summary: Ability to fabricate, install and fabricate screw pipe, carbon steel pipe, stainless steel sch 10 weld pipes; miter and fabricate ; install valves; install underground pipe; install pipe hangers and supports when needed; minor valve maintenance and repair; oxygen and acetylene cutting at times; basic rigging; operation of pneumatic and electric tools.
Job Duties: - 3-5 years of PipeFitting in an industrial setting
- Previous stainless and carbon experience is a must
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ISO's, field installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications
- Good math skills
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Completed work should be neat in appearance and operate properly
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements: - Requires mathematical and English language skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude
- Ability to perform high work volume with minimal errors and supervision
- Ability to communicate courteously and proactively with all levels within the company
- Must be proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Must have the ability to multitask and work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
