Ideal candidates will be law school graduates from the class years 2019 to 2023, currently in good standing at an Am Law-ranked firm, and admitted to practice in D.C.
The role requires experience with U.S. export controls and national security-related trade regulations. A background in sanctions, trade remedies, trade policy, or customs is a strong plus. Candidates should have a solid understanding of customs regulations, including tariff classification, valuation, transfer pricing, and compliance with forced labor laws. Experience with audits, AD/CVD matters, FTAs, customs litigation, and investigations by relevant agencies is also highly preferred.
