Investment Compliance Associate | Boston Hedge Fund

Base pay: $80,000.00/yr $120,000.00/yr
Additional compensation: Annual bonus, profit sharing, 401(k) match, fully paid healthcare

About the Firm

A leading multistrategy investment management firm with over $3B in assets under management is seeking an Investment Compliance Associate to join its collaborative and highperforming compliance team.

Role Overview

The Trade Compliance Associate will play a key role in monitoring trading activity across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions. This individual will work closely with the trading, operations, and legal/compliance teams to ensure the firms investment activity adheres to internal policies, client guidelines, and global regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve daily trade compliance alerts and exception reports in the firms order management system (OMS).
• Maintain restricted lists and oversee wallcrossing processes.
• Review investment guidelines and assist in coding rules into the OMS.
• Support the onboarding of new funds, accounts, and instruments within compliance systems.
• Track and elevate potential compliance breaches and coordinate remediation with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred).
• 15 years of investment compliance experience within an asset management, hedge fund, or investment advisory firm.
• Experience with Charles River, FlexTrade, or a similar OMS/OEMS strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
