We're seeking someone to join our Investment Banking & Global Capital Markets Technology team as an Associate Java Developer in the Advisory Sales & Distribution Super Department to build innovative solutions supporting the complex and evolving needs of our businesses in the Institutional Securities Group. Participate in designing, developing, and testing software applications. Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver projects. Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues. Apply best practices in software development methodologies. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback. Document technical specifications and configurations. Contribute to continuous improvement within the team. Engage in training and upskilling to enhance technical skills. What You'll Bring To The Role Effective communication skills within a team setting. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong hands-on experience with Java EE and core Java. Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and SOA. Skills in Object-Oriented Design, patterns, architecture, and integration. Knowledge of databases, SQL proficiency. Experience with frameworks like SpringBoot, Junit, BDD. Unix/Linux familiarity. Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies. Teamwork and collaboration skills. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new technologies. Typically, at least 3 years of relevant experience.
