We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. This is an entry level position and involves supporting the sales and trading team.

Key responsibilities:

• Support marine fuel sales and trading process including price indications, quote management, operational updates, order processing after sales support and data entry
• Maintain and update trading databases and records in an accurate and timely fashion
• Communicate with our internal teams worldwide to coordinate orders and resolve any issues
• Provide administrative support to the trading team including confirmations, data entry , operational troubleshooting, KYC onboarding etc
• Prepare reports and presentations as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree - maritime academy ideal
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
• Comfortable asking questions, speaking up and accepting responsibility
• Prior experience in shipping, trading or administrative roles is a plus but not required

NOTE: This person will sit with and learn/shadow our senior sales staff. At first, they will be watching how we go about our daily tasks/ trades and will learn the process while they’re assisting with our administrative duties. In the near future (depending on their progress), this individual will be given more responsibilities and will be tasked with managing marine fuel sales in one or more of our physical ports.
