Interim Legal Executive Assistant

Location: Manhattan (midtown)

Hourly Rate: $44 - $55/hour

Contract Duration: Temporary (3 months) initially, can convert to perm.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.

We are working with a prestigious, global law firm who are looking for a highly accomplished Legal Executive Assistant to provide top-tier administrative support with to two of their partners. This role requires a proactive, resourceful individual with 10+ years of Executive Assistant experience, working with partners in demanding legal environments.

The role?

• Provide seamless calendar management for legal professionals, coordinating meetings and resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Manage complex travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
• Process and track expense reports using In-Tap, Microsoft, and Chrome River systems.
• Assist with meeting preparation, including drafting agendas and creating polished documents.
• Collaborate effectively within a matrixed organizational structure, ensuring alignment with existing teams.
• Act as a point of contact for the executives, handling sensitive information with discretion.

Candidate profile/experience

• Strong tenure and demonstrable experience of working with partners in a demanding legal environment.
• 7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting Partners within a law firm.
• Proven ability to manage complex calendars, coordinate travel, and handle high-level administrative tasks.
• Comfortable working with traditional paper trails, and digitalizing documents.
