Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Gynecology
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive gynecological care to female patients across all life stages—from adolescence through advanced age. The role includes well-woman exams, preventive screenings, family planning, prenatal care, and management of chronic conditions. Candidates with J1 Waiver, H1B, and CONRAD 30 Waiver eligibility are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and monitor women throughout pregnancy.
• Perform abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds to assess fetal development and health.
• Manage high-risk and abnormal pregnancies, providing support and guidance for complex decisions.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, hygiene, and overall health management.
• Conduct prenatal and in utero screenings.
• Counsel patients on family planning, birth control, and contraceptive options.
• Assist patients in managing pregnancy-related discomfort and pain.
• Support OB/GYN physicians and midwives during deliveries.
• Maintain current licenses and certifications through continuing education.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (WHNP or CNM).
• Active New York State NP license.
• National Board Certification required (AANP, ANCC, or ONCC).
• Experience in gynecology or women’s health preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills.
