Job Description
Join a precision manufacturing team as a Machinist with strong manual machining skills who can also run and set up CNC equipment. You’ll machine a variety of materials to print, hold tight tolerances, and contribute to continuous improvement on the floor. Proficiency with M-code, G-code, and conversational controls is important; you’ll edit programs at the machine, select tooling, and optimize speeds/feeds for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and drill presses , then transition work to CNC as needed
• Set up/operate CNC mills/lathes; edit M/G code and use conversational control features for efficient machining
• Read blueprints, sketches, and specs; determine sequence of operations, tooling, work-holding, speeds/feeds
• Inspect parts (calipers, micrometers, indicators); verify tolerances and document results
• Build/adjust simple fixtures; deburr, finish, and complete paperwork per job traveler/SOPs
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; support 5S and quality initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements:
Required: Hands-on manual machining experience and ability to set up/run CNC machines
• Able to read/interpret blueprints and GD strong math/trig for shop calculations
• Comfortable coding/editing M-code/G-code and using conversational controls at the machine
• 3–5 years machining experience in a manufacturing/job-shop environment preferred; apprenticeship/tech diploma a plus
• Own and use core machinist tools (mics, calipers, indicators, edge finder, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and safety mindset; able to lift/move materials as needed

• Need to have manual lathe and mill set up experience

Pay Transparency Statement
The base salary range for this position is $45,760–$62,400 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
