We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to provide leadership and expertise in maintaining and optimizing our facility's equipment and processes. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a team across three shifts, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring equipment operates efficiently, dependably, and safely.
Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Clerks, and Technicians.
Enforce safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
Plan and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Coordinate maintenance schedules and resources to meet operational goals.
Troubleshoot equipment, ingredient, and packaging issues effectively.
Collaborate with operations and sanitation teams to improve facility performance.
Manage spare parts inventory and work with vendors/contractors as needed.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives for facility maintenance.
Maintain compliance with industry standards (FDA/USDA, OSHA, EPA, BRC).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience; meat processing and RTE experience preferred.
5+ years in maintenance or operations management roles.
Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic systems, and ammonia refrigeration.
Knowledge of CMMS systems and continuous improvement practices.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Background in HAACP, Lockout/Tagout, GMP, Safety, and Sanitation training.
