Essential Duties and Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of various risks throughout the organization, performing human resource management activities, preparing and presenting operational budgets, assisting in leading risk and control consulting activities, contributing to strategic development and execution of risk management activities, analyzing complex problems and presenting recommendations to senior management, working with business process owners and auditors to evaluate control deficiencies, interpreting and recommending changes to policies and procedures, establishing objectives and processes for efficient workflow, providing guidance for business process improvements, coordinating resources for high-quality results, using communication skills to influence internal audiences, holding teams accountable for deliverables, providing opinions on control environments, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining currency in risk management processes, and performing other assigned duties. Knowledge required includes advanced risk management frameworks relevant to wealth management, comprehensive understanding of risk and control frameworks, sophisticated investment concepts and risk mitigation strategies for high-net-worth individuals, wealth management operational structures and private banking practices, and diverse financial products and markets relevant to wealth management clients. Skills include critical thinking, preparing and reviewing budgets, developing policies and procedures, establishing objectives, process improvement, planning and conducting risk management projects, identifying and documenting risk issues, testing controls, and using office equipment and software. Abilities include performing human resource management, leading and mentoring others, identifying training needs, balancing priorities, facilitating meetings, attention to detail, gathering and applying information, effective communication, reading and interpreting professional information, leading customer service, and establishing effective working relationships. Education and experience requirements include a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years' experience in risk management, internal control, audit, or information security, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. Travel is less than 25%, and the workstyle is hybrid.
