Position: Mechanical Assembler - Start ASAP! $19-$22/HR

• Pay Range: $20.00/per hour to $22.00/per hour (depends on experience) (paid weekly)
• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Job Description: 

• Join our team as a Production Assembler! You'll assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using various tools and equipment. This role involves frequent use of screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and hand soldering (depending on the department). You'll also work with adhesives and chemicals, perform electronic testing, and maintain records using computer workstations.

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand assembly prints, Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and assembly processes.
• Assemble electrical and mechanical parts using different tools and equipment.
• Perform hand soldering (depending on the department).
• Use various adhesives and chemicals in the assembly process.
• Maintain records and perform testing using computer workstations.
• Conduct electronic testing on final assemblies.
• Perform quality control inspections.
• Lift up to 40 pounds consistently.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, small screwdrivers, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with PCB or small part assembly.
• Knowledge of assembly processes, including soldering and microscope use.
• Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) or J-STD-001 certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Safety attire: Provided smocks and safety glasses; safety toe shoes required but not provided.
• Large production area with different lines for gas and flame detection sensors.
• Possible strong epoxy smell in certain areas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
