Full-Time | Day Shift | 10-Hour Shifts | Rotating Call

Hourly Pay: $38.77 – $59.82 (Dependent on Experience)

In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our clinical operations, ensuring patients receive high-quality imaging and compassionate care. What You’ll Do

  • Perform MRI exams following department protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and order verification.
  • Review images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to MRI safety standards.
  • Educate and comfort patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Assist and mentor students and fellow technologists.
  • Operate imaging equipment and related information systems.
  • Document procedures, patient information, and any adverse reactions.
  • Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, and equipment quality control.

Skills You Bring

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and image evaluation.
  • Proficiency in MRI equipment operation and contrast protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certification by  ARRT (MR) ARMRIT , or  ARRT (R)with MRI cross-training.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)certification for healthcare providers.
  • IV Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours/week
  • 10-hour day shifts
  • Rotating call (typically one week per month)

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
