Are you passionate about creating robust and secure network infrastructures? Join Hitachi Energy as a Network Engineer for Grid Integration HVDC/GPQSS in North America, based in Raleigh, NC. How You'll Make an Impact Develop and implement LAN/WAN system designs and architectures. Coordinate IT and industrial control equipment activities during security assessments. Ensure proper use, configuration, and care during security tests. Schedule and coordinate security tests within internal factory settings. Develop and maintain information security procedures for IT equipment. Procure, install, and configure various IT and industrial control equipment. Conduct security assessments of customer systems, services, and programs. Maintain a deep understanding of IT networking and infrastructure. Your Background Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Minimum of five years of relevant experience. Experience with highly technical projects. Understanding of technologies like VMWare, switching and routing, DNS, TCP/IP, and Active Directory. Knowledge of cyber security policies, including defense in depth strategies. Possession of, or ability to obtain, CISSP Certification. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
