We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Network Engineer to join our tech-savvy team. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for network infrastructure and a solid understanding of Linux systems. With a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing our company's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
- Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and integrity to ensure high levels of data availability and network performance.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery).
- Communicate with users when needed.
- Maintain complete technical documentation.
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize network design and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Network Engineer.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) is a plus.
- Solid background in Linux systems.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to explain complex concepts in layman's language.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology.
