Oracle EBS DBA job at Saxon Global Houston, TX, US

Job Description

Primary Technical Responsibilities:

Oracle EBS DBA will patch, upgrade, maintain, clone, and troubleshoot Oracle EBS 12.2.5
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot all EBS 12.2.5 DBA areas, such as concurrent processing, OPP, SSO, forms servers, servers, certificates, Workflow mailers, profile options, EBS DB parameters, EBS Security and EBS WebLogic Servers (OA Cores)
Configure, patch, install, maintain, and troubleshoot WebLogic Server
Provide proactive performance monitoring and capacity planning
SQL tuning with tools such as SQL Tuning Advisor and SQL Optimizer
Configure, patch, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle core database versions 11.x to 19c
Monitor instances and perform tasks with OEM 13c
Analyze root cause of tech stack related issues and provide solutions
As an Oracle EBS DBA, you will administer and maintain security policies and procedures
Linux/UNIX shell scripting for automation and monitoring
Work with Oracle backup (RMAN) and recovery options
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience installing, upgrading, patching, cloning Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.x and 12.2.x (12.2.x a must)
Experience with recent E-Business Suite releases (12.2.x)
Experience with specific technology stack components such as WLS/AS10g, Web/OHS, Forms, Reports
Experience with Workflow and the Workflow Mailer
Experience with Disaster Recovery, Data Guard and E-Business failover
Experience with recent E-Business certified database releases (12c, 19c)
In-depth experience with application patching using adpatch, adop, OAM/patch history database, and AD Utilities used to control and maintain the Applications including AutoConfig
Knowledge and experience with technology stacks and patching including RDBMS, Web, Forms, and Reports
Knowledge and experience with load balancing Forms, Reports, JServ, RDBMS
Development skills, experience with High Availability/Failover, or Advanced Topologies
Strong technical knowledge of ERP R12 concurrent processing, concurrent managers, AOL objects and System Administration
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Flexibility to work nonstandard hours & potentially be on call at certain times Saxon Global
