Job Description:

Compass Pain and Wellness is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary setting alongside specialists in Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, Massage, Chiropractic, and Psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute pain conditions.
  • Perform interventional pain management procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, spinal and peripheral nerve stimulators, Intracept, SI joint fusions, and regenerative procedures.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients on pain management strategies and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Stay current with advancements in pain management treatments and techniques
  • Draft and write compelling reports in the Medical-Legal space.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pain Management and/or Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Valid medical license to practice in Oregon.
  • Fellowship training in Pain Management preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
