_As a Part-Time School-Based Physical Therapist (PT), you will: _

• Provide PT services to students, focusing on developing strength, range of motion, or balance; gait training; improving gross motor control; and/or practice using assistive devices such as a wheelchair, cane, or walker.
• Perform professional assessments of students' physical abilities and progress.
• Provide recommendations of PT interventions that will help remove learning barriers and maximize students' ability to participate fully in a school environment.

_Qualifications for this School PT position include:_

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy.
• Physical therapy licensure in the state of California.
• APTA specialist certification in pediatrics (preferred but not required).
• Prior experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
