Part-time Production Scheduling Assistant As
Part-time Production Scheduling Assistant you will be responsible for working alongside the Production Scheduler to ensure documentation and administrative needs are effectively being met in our Machined Core Department. Having a strong attention to detail and ability to navigate computer systems will be the primary goal of this role.
Flexible set schedule 20-30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: - Perform scheduling function, working with Customer Service and Supervisors.
- Assist Scheduler in processing and creating work orders in the ERP system as well as other day-to day projects as required.
- Prepare work order packets with all the required paperwork for manufacturing.
- Provide scheduling and inventory assistance.
- Maintain accurate record retention of completed work orders.
- Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality and Delivery by being efficient, productive and careful.
- Participate in improving our product, processes equipment and methods.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.
- Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
- Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED Preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime
- Mechanically inclined
