Job Description We are Lockheed Martin You will be an Aircrew Instructor for the ADP Training team. Our team is responsible for the development of training requirements and implementation of courseware to instruct and support integration of Lockheed Martin Skunk Works® MD-5 Ground Control System (GCS) as part of the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System (UMCS)/MQ-25 for Aircrew customer training. What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for developing training courses for Ground Control Systems (GCS), and command, control, communications, and intelligence (C4I) systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise to support, brief, and train test pilots, operational pilots, and systems engineers on GCS capabilities and Aircraft Carrier Nuclear (CVN) aviation operations.
  • Collaborating with test pilots, engineers, and simulation technicians to design, implement, evaluate, and document training and technical publications.
  • Leveraging significant operational and technical experience in Naval Aviation to apply innovative concepts, methodologies, and technical skills using multiple media tools for development of the applicable courseware.
  • Applying the latest research trends on training development techniques and the latest instructional design methodologies for training aids such as: flight simulators and applicable part task training.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior military Instructor Pilot, Weapons Systems Officer (WSO), Naval Flight Officer (NFO), or Electronic Countermeasures Officer (ECMO) experience.
  • Experience with developing, planning, and facilitating Aircrew training.
  • Experience with and technical understanding of aircraft mission systems/sub-systems, payloads, and mission execution concepts.
  • Experience with instructing aircrew operations, mission planning, execution, debriefing, and C4I.
  • Secret security clearance
Desired skills
  • Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) experience.
  • Experience as a Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) instructor, Weapons School instructor, or Operational Test.
  • Experience translating a wide application of tactical aviation technical principles, theories, and concepts into training operations.
  • Understanding and application of Naval Aviation maintenance training and safety programs and policies.
  • Familiarity with nascent training technologies and applications.

Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $125,600 - $217,695.
