About the Role:

We are seeking professional pet sitters to join our team in Urbana, Ijamsville, Monrovia, and surrounding areas. As a pet sitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our clients' pets while they are away. Your main goal will be to ensure the pets are happy, healthy, and safe in their own environment. You will be expected to follow detailed instructions provided by the clients and maintain open communication with them throughout the pet sitting assignment. Your role will be crucial in providing peace of mind to our clients while they are away from their beloved pets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pet care or related field
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in pet care or related field
• Experience with a variety of pets including dogs, cats, and small animals
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Experience with administering medication to pets
• Experience with handling emergencies or unexpected situations

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for pets including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pets
• Follow detailed instructions provided by clients for each pet sitting assignment
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on their pets' well-being
• Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during the pet sitting assignment

Skills:

As a professional pet sitter, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills to provide updates to clients and handle any concerns they may have. You will also need to have strong time management skills to ensure you are able to complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will need to have a keen eye for detail to follow the specific instructions provided by clients and ensure the pets are receiving the proper care. Your experience in pet care and ability to handle emergencies will be crucial in providing the best care possible to our clients' pets.
