Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year
A bit about us: Founded in 1981 as a non-union electrical contracting firm to penetrate and capitalize on the need for quality electrical contracting services in the commercial construction industry of Los Angeles. From its inception, we have been building upon its reputation as a “relationship” organization by concentrating on the private tenant improvement and ground-up commercial projects with a select list of clients.
The Company emerged in the early 1990’s as a major player in the market successfully completing projects ranging from $100,000 to $12,000,000. The Company continued to build its operating and financial strength throughout the 1990’s when it was able to capitalize on the “dot-com boom” for electrical contractors, peaking at over 400 employees.
With the Internet crash severely impacting the construction industry, the Company retrenched to our core business and continued to build our market share in commercial, healthcare, hospitality, public works and high rise residential segments. We continue to expand our client base with a list of notable clients while emphasizing its core business model; the repeat customer. The company moved to its present location in 1998 where the facilities have been continually expanded and improved for its increasing operations.

Job Details Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the electrical field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
- Must have good developmental and team building skills
- Ability to plan and strategize effectively on projects
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner
- Committed to providing customer service at all hours
- Ability to travel
- Experience managing projects remote with limited site visits
Responsibilities
- Lead the project team and has overall accountability for completing assigned construction projects successfully
- Supervise and mentor members of the project management team
- Maintain customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction and quality control
- Manage project related correspondence and documents
- Manage activities associated with materials, budget, and production for projects
- Attend bi-weekly team meetings, schedule and plan resources to meet project schedules
- Be the liaison with the client and field construction team
- Identify scope changes, address issues, and communicate project milestones
- Manage project financials and budget to meet or beat estimated GP
- Facilitate the change order process on client projects
- Manage all aspects of multiple projects and ensure budget targets are met while maintaining quality standards
- Must receive and provide clear, constructive feedback regarding work performance and be able to provide clarification as necessary
