\nWe are seeking a passionate MSN prepared Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical expertise and support to critical care nursing staff at our level one trauma center located in Madison, WI.
\nAreas of support include a 16-bed state of the art Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) located in our brand-new tower (C2/5) at University Hospital with a tentative opening in early 2027.
\nMICU nurses provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a wide variety of complex medical issues including acute respiratory failure, sepsis, drug toxicity, poisoning, and multi system organ failure. Interventions may include ECMO or CRRT.
Improve patient outcomes and healthcare quality by providing expert clinical guidance, education, and implementing evidence-based practices.
Act as a clinical expert for specific clinical populations; a minimum of three years of medical intensive care nursing experience is strongly preferred.
Pay:
\nPay range is based on a full-time (100%) position.
Salary is prorated based on FTE.
