We are currently seeking a Release Manager to join our team in Dublin, Dublin (IE-D), Ireland (IE).

Summary of role:

The Release Manager will play a critical role in the Core banking transformation project by overseeing the release process of new system implementations. Responsibilities include coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth release cycles, validating business requirements, framing business cases, and working closely with different departments and the Technology team to align releases with the Bank's strategic objectives. The Release Manager will focus on enabling seamless transitions and delivering high-quality customer experiences in line with the Bank's goals.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Producing release artifacts including deployment, implementation, and run books plans.
  • Conducting release readiness and milestone reviews
  • Working with engineers to comprehend code impacts where required.
  • Leading and coordinating checklist and deployment plan execution.
  • Ensuring that releases operate as per expectations.
  • The ability to run retrospectives post each release for continued improvements. 

We are looking for someone below skills/experience:

  • 8+ years of overall experience
  • Strong Agile delivery background and experience delivery change across multiple squads.
  • Co-ordination of all deliveries across the platform.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement and improvement of the Delivery approach.  
  • Experience in leading and collaborating across teams for successful solution delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain functional and technical concepts where needed or changes to delivery approach.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize and plan work.
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills
  • Experience resolving challenges that could impact release delivery across platforms.
  • Experience measuring and monitoring progress to deliver the release using metrics from systems like JIRA.
  • Experience coordinating processes between different teams and managing relationships.
