Remote and Hybrid Work Schedules Available - Must live within the Meijer footprint [Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky] Or, be willing to relocate (relocation assistance available).
• Remote Option: Work remote M–F, AND be available as needed to attend occasional on-site meetings as required at Meijer corporate offices in (Grand Rapids) Walker, MI.

Currently Meijer is seeking a strong SAP Basis Administrator for our Corporate Finance train. We expect the qualified candidate to have a minimum of 5 years SAP Basis Administration experience and a strong understanding of SAP best practice.
The SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for management of the SAP environment. In this role you will configure, monitor, tune and troubleshoot the SAP technical environment. You will drive engagement with software vendors, hosting partners, solution consultants and IT colleagues to maintain, upgrade and enhance our SAP environment within a SAFe agile framework.
What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
• Configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment
• Coordinate and assist with the upgrade and maintenance of the SAP systems
• Assist in managing SAP users, authorizations, and profiles
• Assist with Solution Manager and transport management via ChaRM
• Provide guidance and leadership in the areas of system maintenance, version upgrades, and incident resolution
• Evaluate versions or updates to systems to determine feasibility for use, and make recommendations to IT management
• Planning and implementing SAP System upgrades
• Applying and migrating SAP maintenance packages
• Participate in SAP system audits
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
• Bachelor’s or 12 years' experience (or comparable combination of education and related experience).
• Any SAFe certification or training and or experience on Agile teams is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with SAP Basis Administration
• Strong knowledge of SAP installs and upgrades including usage of SAP
Maintenance Planner
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA
• Knowledge of SAP User Security
• Good knowledge of SAP RISE and SAP on Azure
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical as well as organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to learn functional and technical concepts quickly
• Experience with SAP Netweaver, PI/PO configuration
• Experience monitoring ABAP dumps and database locks
• Experience using SAP Solution Manager for end-to-end system monitoring and alerting
• Experience in SAP kernel updates, SAP plug-in, landscape management, and transports
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, Ariba CIG, and Fieldglass integrations a plus
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) a plus

The pay range for this position is listed below.
$100,000.00 - $156,000.00This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Your specific pay rate within this range will be based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team you’ll be joining.
