Patrol Solutions

Starting pay $20.00 p/h with the possibility of overtime.

This is a non-driving position, and a BSIS Guard Card is not required. The role involves dispatching for over 280 guards and requires multitasking. You’ll need to use multiple software platforms, handle both cell phone and desk phone communication, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications, skills, and education requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply! (English & Spanish)
• Penal Code Knowledge
• 10 Code knowledge (radio codes)
• Ability to communicate written and verbally via phone and in-person.
• Comfortable making phone calls & receiving phone calls from guards, management and more.
• De-escelation tactics via phone, written & verbal communication.
• Ability to read, write and understand and carry out written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take the initiative in completing assigned tasks
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Security Dispatch Professional Responsibilities may include:

• Daily, weekly, monthly scheduling.
• Shift confirmation
• Ability to multitask and maintain multiple platforms at once
• Emergency life line to field staff
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Hourly shift check-ins
• Ability to think outside the box
• Utilize a smartphone, hand held radio or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report.
• Maintain consistent performance, attendance, appearance, and professional grooming.
• Maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues, and the public.
• Respond to emergency calls, including medical, fire, and damage to property.

Schedule:

• 8.5 -hour shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Customer Service (1 year)
• Dispatch (1 year)
• Phone Etiquette (1 year)
• Security (1 year)

License/Certification:

• Guard Card (not required but nice to have)
• Driver's License (not required but nice to have)

Work Location: One location, In Office this is not a hybrid or remote position.

Security guard tasks include maintaining an awareness of the environment and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. As a security guard, you must also be in good physical shape since you will spend a lot of time on your feet, walking around, observing, and assessing situations. High attention to detail is required as you need to respond to emergency situations and emergency calls. Ultimately, you will be a vital link to preventing theft, damage, or injury in our organization.
