As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed responsibilities and driving, offering you the chance to utilize your experience while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and identification verification as required by site-specific policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services personnel during incidents as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or armed guard license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
