As a Security Officer - Front Desk Patrol in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be stationed at the main entrance, greeting visitors and assisting tenants while remaining alert to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. You will maintain a visible presence to help promote a welcoming and orderly environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and staff at the front desk of the commercial real estate location, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
  • Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and managing visitor logs, helping to maintain authorized entry.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
  • Communicate with property management and emergency services as needed, relaying important information promptly and accurately.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of the commercial real estate environment.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, supporting the overall security posture of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
