Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Transit Center in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed security professional in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This role requires you to be attentive and responsive, contributing to a secure environment while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

PLUS ADDITIONAL ARMED BONUS $3000!!

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Document and report any incidents or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as needed during incidents.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an armed designation.
• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
