Job Description

Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for a Senior HR Manager in the Murray County, Minnesota area. The position can be either a contract-to-hire role with strong potential to convert to permanent after initial contract period or permanent for the candidate who meets/exceeds all requirements. Candidates must be bilingual Spanish-English (mandatory). Will consider relocation. Salary: $125,000 to $150,000 and up depending on experience (permanent position has additional bonus eligibility and competitive benefits)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours

Position Type: Contract to hire or potentially permanent if meets/exceeds requirements

Location: 100% onsite - Murray County, Minnesota

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for key roles, ensuring a strong employer brand and diverse talent pipeline.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and develop workforce strategies.
  • Optimize onboarding to enhance new hire retention and engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, resolving conflicts and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Oversee audits (e.g., I-9, payroll, benefits) and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, feedback programs, and retention strategies.
  • Conduct investigations and ensure fair, consistent policy application.
  • Handle benefits administration (health, retirement, wellness)
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Plan and implement training and development

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish-English required
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with expertise in talent acquisition, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Experience using PayCom system
  • Strong knowledge of employment law (federal/state), benefits administration, and payroll.
  • Experience in training and development
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in a related field; HR certifications are a strong plus
