Senior Piping Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Piping Designer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of piping systems for various industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of piping design principles, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review piping design layouts and specifications based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed piping drawings and models.
• Conduct stress analysis and perform calculations to ensure the integrity of piping systems.
• Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance to junior designers and drafters.
• Review vendor documentation and collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials and equipment.
• Ensure all designs are completed on time and within budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CADWorx, AutoCAD, SMAP3D, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
